Do I need home health experience to start?

No. That is the point. The curriculum is built to give you clinical confidence before your first visit, not after your tenth. It starts with what the job actually looks like, gives you a 9-step system for your first start-of-care visit, and walks you through OASIS before you ever touch a real form.

They cover the W2 versus 1099 math, per-visit rate negotiation, entity structure, the deduction stack, and the payment and operational rules behind a real week, which is the part almost nobody teaches a clinician before they need it. They are open from day one and are not required for the certificate.

How long does the curriculum take?

It is self-paced. Individual modules run from about 2.5 hours (Module 2, Module 8, Bonus 1, Bonus 2) to 3 to 4 hours for the clinical reasoning and OASIS modules. The case bank (Module 7) is 6.5 to 8 hours for the full 50 cases, or about 3 to 3.5 hours for the recommended core set of 12 to 15 cases. Most clinicians work through the curriculum over a few weeks before their start date.

Is the OASIS content current?

Yes. Current to OASIS-E2, effective April 2026. It is maintained by a practicing home health PT who is filling out these forms on real patients, so a change to the item set lands in his own documentation before it reaches the curriculum.

How long do I keep access?

Your access does not expire. Sign up free before December 31, 2026 and it is yours to keep, and content updates are included: when the item set changes, the way it did with the April 2026 OASIS-E2 update, you see the current version without paying anything.

My employer wants to cover this. Do they need to?

Nobody needs to pay this year. If your agency wants the team version, the agency program is also free through December 31, 2026, with an admin dashboard that tracks progress. The individual version stays in your name and keeps the business and tax modules and the career tools the agency track leaves out.

Is this CEU-accredited?

No. It is not CEU-accredited, and finishing it does not earn continuing-education or license-renewal credit. It is preparation for the job: the OASIS-E2 walkthrough, documentation practice that gets graded, and the case work that makes your first weeks in the field survivable, with a named completion certificate at the end. If that ever changes, we will say so plainly.

W2 or 1099: which should I choose?
