I built this because I needed it first.

Brand new. Alone in the field.

Two years ago I was a brand new DPT graduate stepping into home health for the first time. I had passed the boards. I had completed every clinical rotation my program required. None of them had prepared me for this.

There is no rotation in PT school for home health. No textbook. No course. No senior PT down the hall when something does not look right in a stranger's living room. Every program in the country trains its graduates for clinical settings, and home health is the one nobody trains anyone for.

So I figured it out on my own. Determined to make the job work with almost no one to ask. Every lesson I learned in the field, I wrote down. Six hundred work days later, that documentation became this curriculum.

$120K
Student debt out of school
3,000+
Patient visits completed
600+
Daily work logs documented
2 years
To pay off all the debt

Every system I built, I built alone.

What I found was a job that runs on rhythms no school teaches.

Reading a stranger's home before you knock on the door. Living inside OASIS, the documentation system every home health PT runs on, that no one in PT school had ever shown me. Routing a day across a city. Being the only clinician in the room and having to decide what to do next without a senior PT to defer to.

There was no textbook. No course. No mentor in my program who specialized in home health. So I started writing things down. Every visit, every workflow I built for myself, every business decision I had to learn the hard way. Six hundred work days later, that documentation became the foundation for this curriculum. Every module is the answer to a question I had to figure out alone.

Zero DPT programs teach this.

There are over 300 DPT programs in the United States. Home health is one of the largest and fastest-growing practice settings in physical therapy. New graduates can earn $90,000 to $140,000+ in their first year.

Yet zero programs teach home health readiness as a dedicated course. Zero teach OASIS documentation. Zero teach the business fundamentals (W2 vs 1099, rate negotiation, tax strategy) that decide whether a new grad thrives or burns out in the first year.

The Home Health Pro exists to close that gap. Every module is built from real patient encounters, real documentation, and real numbers I tracked across 600+ work days. Not estimates. Not aspirational figures. Not a textbook written ten years ago by someone who left the field.

Your students will not figure it out alone.

I was a DPT student two years ago. I sat through the same lectures your students sit through now. I watched my classmates take residency offers in outpatient ortho while I drove into Los Angeles neighborhoods with no idea what I was doing. I remember exactly what it felt like. The unprepared. The alone. The one-stranger's-house-at-a-time learning.

That memory is the reason this curriculum exists, and it is why it reads the way it does. Every module was written to the person I was on day one. Every protocol is the answer to a question I asked alone. Every business module exists because I made the financial mistakes first.

No DPT student should enter home health unprepared. No new graduate should learn OASIS in a stranger's home on day one. No one should find out about the highest-paying setting in PT by accident, three years into their career.

The Home Health Pro gives your program the only curriculum built for this purpose. Built from real practice. Tracked in real time. Live in your classroom in 24 hours.

“This curriculum exists because nothing else does. Your students will not have to figure it out alone. Your program will be the one that gave them that advantage.”
